The Sharp BP-50M26 is the entry mono model in the BP-50 Essentials A3 family — same floor-standing chassis as the BP-50C26 color sibling, just without the color toner system. Print speed is 26 pages per minute mono at 1200 x 1200 dpi, with first copy out at 4.5 seconds from platen and 7.7 seconds from the 100-sheet RSPF. Standard paper capacity is 650 sheets across one 550-sheet drawer plus a 100-sheet bypass, expandable to 6,300 sheets with split tandem drawers and the BP-LC10 large capacity cassette. The scanner is color/grayscale capable at 80 ipm even though print output is mono only — useful for scan-to-PDF workflows where you're capturing color forms but printing in B/W. The 10.1-inch tilting touchscreen handles direct print from Office, scan-to-cloud (OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, Box, Dropbox, Google Drive), and Synappx Go mobile workflows. The drum unit (DR810) is separate and usually lasts 15,000 to 30,000 pages before it needs replacing. At a typical small office volume, expect to change it once every 2 to 4 years.
