The 1 thing buyers regret: buying single-function when half the team also needs to scan. The XC4342 multifunction version is the same engine plus scan, copy, and fax — and at workgroup volumes the MFP almost always pays for itself. Buy the C4342 only if you're certain nobody will need to scan or you have a separate scanner station that handles it.
