It prints up to 65 ppm letter (61 ppm A4), copies at 65 cpm, and scans at 83 ppm / 167 ipm duplex through the 150-sheet single-pass dual-head ADF. The duty cycle is 450,000 pages/month with a recommended sweet spot of 5,000-40,000. Standard paper capacity is 650 sheets (100-sheet multipurpose plus 550-sheet tray 2), expandable to 3,750 with up to four optional 550-sheet feeders or the 2,000-sheet HCI option. The 8.0-inch color touchscreen rotates to a comfortable angle and the z (Flow) model adds a pull-out keyboard, embedded OCR, scan to SharePoint, and HP Roam capability for mobile pull-print. HP Sure Start BIOS self-heal, run-time intrusion detection, and whitelisting are standard for security-conscious shops.
